Reference standard Type ‘R’ & ‘S’ thermocouples are made from High purity reference grade platinum and platinum rhodium alloy. It covers Temperature range up to 1500°C. It is commonly used as reference standard to calibrate Industrial thermocouples.
This sensors are assembled with 6mm OD, 450mm or 600mm long gas tight 99.7% high Alumina sheath. This type thermocouples, besides the low ageing drift, also offers the advantage of a low basic tolerance value.
This model with Cold Junction compensation probe provides much accurate temperature measurement possibilities. The Cold Junction probe is inserted in to ICE water mixture. This is necessary for the Precision measurement.
